Yoga for ALL ages
Yoga for Children

Douglas’s strong passion engages younger students through the fun play of yoga. Whether students are short, tall, round or small, there is something for everyone. Douglas believes that the only perfect pose in Yoga is when you are doing your absolute best. Yoga takes time and effort. The classes will encourage you to open up your heart with compassion and non-judgment for yourself and for others. Be prepared to explore the following:
- Centering (setting your intentions for your practice)
- Pranayama (breath work)
- Pratapana (warming up the body)
- Asana (poses - synchronizing breath with movement)
- Mediation and affirmations
- Partner Yoga (community building)
Yoga for Adults

Douglas’s adult classes will focus on form, alignment, and philosophy. Classes are spontaneous but he likes to maintain a purpose to educate students about their body, mind, and soul. More importantly, it’s all centered on the breath (“Prana”--the life force behind all thoughts and feelings.) The classes will empower you to become conscious of your sadana (practice) through the sister science of yoga, ayurveda--becoming aware of the time, day, diet, and season. Whether students are a beginner, intermediate, or advance yogis (male) and yoginis (female), and especially those of a certain age, the practice will encourage you to be more compassionate with non-judgment to physical limitations.
The goal of the class is to awaken the student’s senses by engaging them in a healthy and safe environment, nurturing a community of like-minded seekers that fosters deep healing and connections.
So please come breathe, smile, and flow with me!
Namaste,
I honor the light in you, which is also the same in me, and we recognize this source to be the same... we are all connected.
